THE BAFTA AWARDS 2013 RED CARPET ROUND UP

La Baftas.

Here's Saoirse Ronan. She is delightful. Here she's wearing Christopher Kane Pre A/W 13/14 and Asprey jewellery. I always feel a little sad whenever I first see Saoirse. Maybe because she was so convincing in her role as Susie Salmon in The Lovely Bones.

Here we have Alicia Vikander wearing Dior. LOVE the slicked back mane and minimal make up. Sheer perfection.

Jessica Chastain wore a cobalt Roland Mouret gown with matching Harry Winston jewels. I dont particularly like this, it looks a little like a prom dress... But Jessica is fabulous and glorious and all things divine.

Marion Cotillard. Ultimate Beaut. This canary yellow Dior Couture piece is exquisite. Shes decorated herself with Chopard diamond jewellery. ADORE.

Once again Jennifer Lawrence wore Dior. She wore a black overcoat on the red carpet. I like Jennifer with this look, again LOVE the slicked back hair and her smokey come to bed eyes.

Anne Hathaway looked effortless in a Burberry studded gown and carried an Anya Hindmarch clutch.

Sarah Jessica Parker arrived in this Elie Saab jumpsuit rather than a frock. I thinks she looks just lovely, and thank the Lord she didnt wear a suit.

Elizabeth Olsen - who I LOVE!! - wore a Chanel couture gown. Her face is the bestest!

Juno Temple, winner of the BAFTA Rising Star Award wore a Stella McCartney white belted gown and Asprey jewellery.

Helen Mirren. Really I didnt understand the big fuss about her hair. It didn't clash with her dove grey Nicholas Oakwell Couture. I think it's about time everyone got a grip. If Helen Mirren wants to have pastel pink hair then clearly - she will.

Peace Out.

The Grammy's 2013

Yes, I am aware of when the Grammy's took place. But I think its nice to have a full collection of the fashion from the award ceremonies so I'm working backwards from the Oscars to the People's Choice Awards cause Im quirky like dat.

First up -  Queen B. Wearing an Osman monochrome jumpsuit with Jimmy Choo platforms and a Swarovski clutch. That's all we need to know really cause its Queen B!

Adele. As much as I dislike her I must applaud her for breaking out of the comfort zone and wearing something other than a black dress. This dress is divine and I want to hear nothing more about it looking like its made from upholstery fabric. It's Valentino Couture and it's glorious.

Rihanna wearing custom designed Azzedine Alaia. She looks stunning.

Here we have Florence Welch in Givenchy Haute Couture. She looks a little alien-esque. But it's something she wears very easily. And the colour of the dress with her hair. Magnifique.

Katy Perry. Now I'm a fan. I'm also a fan of the colour mint. My wardrobe is a little too over minted if you ask me. But this shade is just wrong for her skin tone and I'm not a fan of big bulging boobs. They're distracting. Soz K Pez...

The perfect Karlie Kloss in a sky blue Michael Kors cut out dress. Yes her ribs are showing. She is a model. Lets move on...

Princess Solange. She is dreamy from head to toe and wears this colour fabulously. She's chosen an emerald Ralph and Russo Couture gown teamed with hot pink heels (no one could do it but her) and Lorraine Schwartz jewellery.

Taylor Swift wore a J. Mendel S/S 2013 white gown with silver detailing. I feel like every outfit Taylor wears to an event right now is judged as a slap in the face to Mr Styles. Precisely what she's going for. She later became the ringmaster of the stage in a performance of her single "We are never ever getting back together"

Thankyou JLO. You are an amusing individual. Here she clearly is still Jenny from the Block with her trademark topknot and flasjhing that thigh in a ridiculous manner. Go home.

Kelly Rowland here in Georges Chakra S/S 2013 gown with cut away detailing. And cut away dignity.

Carey Mulligan supporting husband Marcus Mumford wore head to toe Lanvin. I do love Carey.

Azzedine Alaia made another appearance on the red carpet, this time on the body of Alicia Keys. She looks HOT but very predictable from her.

Last but certainly not least, Justin Timberlake and Jay-Z perform suit and tie, Justin wearing Tom Ford of course.

Peace Out.

The Brit Awards 2013

Le Rouge Rug Round Up

I say a rug rather than carpet because I do think the Brit awards are a tad pathetic when we think of all the award ceremonies that happen around the same time in Hollywood, and they are all so much better. Winning a Brit is like winning second prize, or maybe third. Never the less, it's always fun to see what everyone wore. And sometimes point and laugh.

So Jourdan Dunn. She is utter perfection and I want to make love to her legs. She started the night off in a Lemon Yellow Balmain Mini Dress and later changed to present an award into a slinky black evening gown and De Beers Jewellery.

Taylor Swift looked very post break up in an Ellie Saab belted gown with thigh high splits. Begging Harry to want her back. Especially in her performance as she wore an extravagant yet romantic white gown and then mid performance changed into a sexy black harlot get up. Begging him....

One Direction appeared looking very dapper in a selection of Alexander McQueen, Burberry, Topman, ASOS and Kurt Geiger. I personally think its degrading to dress one of them in ASOS (clearly Niall) however Liam is pulling off the McQueen nicely.

Rita Ora wore something fabulous. This blush pink backless Ulyana Sergeenko gown teamed with Cartier jewels is something else. But Rita looks awkward and needs to spend some time practising how to pose nicely in a dress with a bustle and train....

Lana Del Rey. It must now be known how much I love her. I cant describe how much I do. But she should be wearing a diadem and telling everyone there she is their mother fucking queen. Instead she did it quietly by winning an award and wearing simple Chanel.

Paloma Faith. Sometimes she looks like utter perfection, other times a try hard trudy. At the brits the latter was far from anyones mind. She wore a bejewelled Dolce and Gabbana dress with a matching hair piece and she looked simply glorious.

Alexa Chung looked Oh So Lovely in a white Valentino playsuit with black Jimmy Choo pumps. But please Alexa, it's February at least but some lovely fur on you're making me shiver.

Delilah. I could listen to her all day. But I do think shes an attention seeker sometimes with her get ups. This is ok, if only the detailing in it werent saggy cleavage. She could have done more in the make up department too. She needs some lipstick.

Natahsa Khan. She's such an angel. Here she is wearing a Luisa Beccaria piece. She is special. She could sing me to sleep for the rest of my life.

Jaime Winstone. When I first saw this Jeremy Scott for Adidas JukeBox dress I felt a little tearful. However I'm not sure it's appropriate for a red carpet event and I'm pretty sure it must have been in her wardrobe for more than a few years. Maybe the frock she was supposed to wear got detained at the dry cleaners.. who knows? I think the shoes are perfect with it (again not really for the red carpet) but the earrings simply have GOT TO GO. So does the bag and the bra straps.

Aluna Francis. Love this lady and I love Theyskens Theory. She looks marvellous.

Ed Sheeran in a Midnight Blue suit with nike trainers. This outfit is all well and good but someone introduce this boy to a tailor and a steamer. Please.

Little Mix. All wearing Kurt Geiger shoes. Not really worth a mention are they? They do not co-ordinate at all, Destiny's child need to teach them a lesson or two....

Lily Allen here in a Chanel tweed dress at the Warner after party. Im praying that's a light making her hair look orange. It would have also been nice if she'd washed her hair seeing as she's wearing Chanel but I guess we can let it slide..

Jessie J wearing a low cut black Versace gown (with the belt the wrong way round) and Morticia Adams hair looked equally as terrible in her white Universal after party get up.

Who the hell does Gemma Arterton think she is turning up in this travesty? I am dissappointed that this is a Jonathan Saunders creation. She looks terrible. A red sequinned cardigan and matching knee length skirt? God help us all. The blue sole of her vile shoes is also very off-putting.

Corrine Bailey Rae, Divine One! You look very demure and lovely. I want this Miu Miu. She can however keep the shoes. Ugh..

The Brit awards red carpet. Always rather amusing and interesting. Until 2014...

THE OSCARS. 2013. RED CARPET ROUND-UP

The time of year that brings us divine creatures of Hollywood and Heartwrenching couture is upon us, with the Oscars bringing all of this gloriousness to its end, for now.

Lets start with actress of the moment and also the new face of the Miss Dior Campaign (which I must add she looks duh-fuckin-mazing!! in) - Jennifer Lawrence - who naturally, wore Dior.

Jennifer also scooped up the award for Best Actress in a Leading Role for her part in Silver Linings Playbook. And I think we all found her trip on the stairs as endearing as her quick wit and humour that she managed to retain as she was given a standing ovation and told everyone

"Thank you, you guys are just standing up because you feel bad that I fell. This is really embarrassing."

I do adore Jennifer, I really really do. I first discovered her in Winters Bone where she plays a harsh and raw role. I find her an honest and humble young lady. As a true fan of the books, I was rather apprehensive as I went to watch The Hunger Games, but she did not dissapoint me! So much better than the vampire slut Kristen Stewart who stands there angrily and sporting her trainers with her couture. Anyway, I shall not get sidetracked... Jennifer and the Oscars.

Jennifer looked stunning in a ivory drop waisted Dior Couture Gown.

All hail Queen Jennifer!

Jennifer Lawrence

Jennifer Lawrence - Miss Dior Campaign

Next Up: Jessica Chastain. I am obsessed. I LOVED LOVED LOVED her as Celia Foote in the help. She was phenomenal in Zero Dark Thirty. I have yet to see her in Mama, which looks a little sketchy but has a nice rating of 6.5 on IMDB - always a good rating for a horror.

The Best Actress Nominee donned custom made Giorgio Armani and adorned herself with vintage Harry Winston. Tres Chic. She just oozes Hollywood Glamour.

Jessica Chastain

Salma Hayek

Salma, as always is perfection. She wore an Alexander McQueen blue velvet gown with an embellished collar as well as a Cindy Chao jewelled hair piece, and on her arm is husband - Francois - Henri Pinault. Im having visions right now of wearing this piece to my wedding whilst walking down the aisle to Lana Del Rey's rendition of Blue Velvet...

Salma Hayek

Olivia Munn looked like royalty in her red Marchesa strapless gown with gold embroidered bodice. I do wish our Kate Middleton would wear something like this once in a while. Just for the irony. And also because if I was Kate, I would wear this.

Olivia Munn

Jane Fonda sported a Versace daffodil coloured dress with Jimmy Choo sandals and clutch. I hope to be able to wear this colour when I'm this age. She looks dreamy. And I do think the contrast of the yellow with the red carpet is just lovely.

Jane Fonda

Amy Adams looked very appropriate in a Lavendar Oscar De La Renta Gown. Thankyou Amy, some of the people on the carpet did need reminding that they are at THE OSCARS....ON A RED CARPET.

Amy Adams

Next we go to Anne Hathaway,  winner of Best Supporting Actress for her role in Les Miserables. Anne wore a pale pink satin Prada gown. As she's wearing Prada, not much more needs to be said on the matter. She does look happy.

Anne Hathaway

Amanda Seyfried - not usually a fan, of her or her style. However here she does look stunning. Maybe something to do with the Alexander McQueen lilac organza embroidered gown she's swathed herself in.

Amanda Seyfried

My feelings toward Jennifer Aniston in this piece remain neutral. Because it's Valentino and she's Jennifer Aniston and looks truly ecstatic and is glorious. But then theres just something not quite right here.

Jennifer Aniston

Charlize Theron wore a white Dior Couture gown and accesorised with Harry Winston jewels. She looks beautiful and classic. And shes totally pulling off the crop. I think she looked stunning with her shaved head and she's keeping it up as her hair grows back. Perfection.
