CARA DELEVINGNE BEAUTY TIPS

 Cara Delevingne, current It Girl to... everyone! Men, women, boys, girls, dogs, cats and giraffes.
Cara recently shared her beauty essentials and tips with VOGUE UK.

First of all, her trademark brows. Cara uses Anastacia Eyebrow Gel. This comes in 5 different shades; Blonde, Caramel, Brunette, Espresso and Granite. The gel is designed to set your desired brow look with a hint of tint. It is a lasting lightweight gel formula fortified with botanical hair conditioners and essential oils. Anastacia's top tips for use are;

  • Apply after brow pencil or powder duo - but it can also be used alone for a subtle hint of colour.
  • Withdraw wand from case and wipe excess product from around the base of the brush (um duh...)
  • Apply gel in short upward strokes in direction of hair growth. Blend thoroughly using a clean spooley brush.
Cara says she chooses this particular eyebrow gel because "it's really good because it's not too hard".
And I like it because Cara likes it and is an eyebrow artiste!

The mascara brand Cara favours is CHANEL. She doesnt specify which one in particular, but as she's had A LOT of different mascaras applied to her bad lashes I'm going to take this as an overall opinion on brands. All the CHANEL mascaras are the same price.

She also recommends Touche Eclat. She doesnt give any specific reason. Does she need to? This product is over 20 years old and still holds cult status. Touche Eclate is designed to capture the light, banishing signs of fatigue and fading out inperfections. You only need a click or two to eliminate any shadow from the side of the nose, corners of the mouth, hollow of the chin and expression lines. It can also be used to highlight the eyes (which is always the best news ever) applied to the lip contour for fuller looking lips and used in general for radiance. It comes in a wide range of colours and is suitable for all skin types. Perfecto!

 Cara tells of how another must have is Burberry Fresh Glow. It's a lightweight, luminous, fluid base that gives the skin a gentle fresh shimmer and achieves a sheer dewy finish. It is a pink colour that compliments all skin tones and enhances the complexion and gives an effortessly radiant and healthy look. (I think we've all seen that on Cara, on the catwalk and off.) It contains wild rose extract which provides moisturizing benefits and regenerating properties, leaving the skin hydrated, protected and with a natural healthy glow.

How to use?
  • Apply all over clean face for immediate, natural radiance.
  • For complexion perfection mix Fresh Glow with your regular foundation
  • To highlight and sculpt the face, apply over makeup to cheekbones, bridge of nose and chin

Cara is also a fan of the ever famous Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Cream. Thi sversatile product is used by make-up artists worldwide and is excellent for;

  • Protecting skin from drying wind, central heating and airconditioning. The skincare soothes, restores, calms and helps relieve minor skin irritations including roughness, redness, chapped and cracked dry skin.
  • To add shine to eyelids, cheeks, lips and legs.
  • Softening rough, dry cuticles keeping them soft, supple and beautifully manicured.
  • Use a tiny dab to smooth eybrows and create a perfectly defined arch that will stay in place all day.
  • Smooth rough heels and soften soles.
  • Great for hydrating skin after being in the sun because of its legendary soothing and moisturising benefits. Perfect for relieving minor sunburn or calming dry, irritated, sun- exposed skin.
  • Use after flying - ideal for banishing that dry and uncomfortable look and feeling skin gets.
  • A MUST HAVE for after shaving or waxing legs! The cream calms irritation, reduces redness and leaves legs super soft and silky.

 Cara says you should drink Water. And a lot of it. She then goes onto say how she doesnt drink enough of it because she finds it boring, but she's learnt to do it a lot.

DRINK A LOT OF IT

Our babe Cara goes on to tell us how we should breathe a lot! Always helpful! And also take your time to relax, get a massage or a facial and sit still. She also says "Meditate! I don't do it but I should!"

CARA DELEVINGNE AND JOURDAN DUNN TEES

The T-shirts that made many an appearance over LFW are on sale now featuring queens of the runway Jourdan Dunn and Cara Delevingne.

Worn by Rita Ora to show her love for pal Cara, and also worn by Cara to show her love for Jourdan.

The tees can be bought from here

 for 30 pounds until PFW ends, they will then be priced at 40 pounds. And heres some more of my favourites from Black Score;

Tom Ford Is My Homeboy

Dior Is Dope

Otter & SpanielGet Your Own Coat

I do feel torn with this brand. They have some cute designs, but these tees are priced at 40 pounds each. Kind of overpriced I think. I cant comment on the fit or quality having only seen them online, but they are a little reminiscent of other tees with one of the tees featuring a slogan "give us a cuddle Susie Bubble" Hello Henry Holland slogan tee phase?

And of course we can't possible forget the Jesus is my Homeboy/Mary is my homegirl phase. Tom Ford makes just as good a homboy as Jesus obviously, but still. Go get your own ideas.

For something a little more original or colourful I like these tees;

KARL LAGERFELD MELISSA COLLABERATION.

The day we have all been waiting for has arrived! Karl Lagerfeld has unveiled a preview of his collaberation with plastic shoe brand Melissa. The collection consists of 4 pieces, and is the first in a series of ranges to be released over the next 4 seasons.

The collection is inspired by Melissa's native country, Brazil with one of the designs created in colours of the Brazilian flag.

Karl says "The fact that I will discover something I know little about, that is the most exciting part of this cobranding, It's not the first time I've done shoes. I design footwear the same way I design clothes - with a feeling I express in my design. I had never worked with plastic in this way before, it's not the classic technique. I am used to working with more traditional techniques for Fendi, Chanel and Lagerfeld shoes."

Melissa renowned for its colourful plastic jelly shoes has previously teamed up with Vivienne Westwood, Jean Paul Gaultier and model Alessandra Ambrosio. Paul Pedo, CEO of Melissa, described the partnership as "one of the most exciting collaborations the company has ever seen".

I do j'adore! The ice cream heeled ones are my favourites, they make me weak at the knees! I cannot wait to see the real thing!!

THE BAFTA AWARDS 2013 RED CARPET ROUND UP

La Baftas.

Here's Saoirse Ronan. She is delightful. Here she's wearing Christopher Kane Pre A/W 13/14 and Asprey jewellery. I always feel a little sad whenever I first see Saoirse. Maybe because she was so convincing in her role as Susie Salmon in The Lovely Bones.

Here we have Alicia Vikander wearing Dior. LOVE the slicked back mane and minimal make up. Sheer perfection.

Jessica Chastain wore a cobalt Roland Mouret gown with matching Harry Winston jewels. I dont particularly like this, it looks a little like a prom dress... But Jessica is fabulous and glorious and all things divine.

Marion Cotillard. Ultimate Beaut. This canary yellow Dior Couture piece is exquisite. Shes decorated herself with Chopard diamond jewellery. ADORE.

Once again Jennifer Lawrence wore Dior. She wore a black overcoat on the red carpet. I like Jennifer with this look, again LOVE the slicked back hair and her smokey come to bed eyes.

Anne Hathaway looked effortless in a Burberry studded gown and carried an Anya Hindmarch clutch.

 Sarah Jessica Parker arrived in this Elie Saab jumpsuit rather than a frock. I thinks she looks just lovely, and thank the Lord she didnt wear a suit.

Elizabeth Olsen - who I LOVE!! - wore a Chanel couture gown. Her face is the bestest!

Juno Temple, winner of the BAFTA Rising Star Award wore a Stella McCartney white belted gown and Asprey jewellery.

Helen Mirren. Really I didnt understand the big fuss about her hair. It didn't clash with her dove grey Nicholas Oakwell Couture. I think it's about time everyone got a grip. If Helen Mirren wants to have pastel pink hair then clearly - she will.

Peace Out.

The Grammy's 2013

Yes, I am aware of when the Grammy's took place. But I think its nice to have a full collection of the fashion from the award ceremonies so I'm working backwards from the Oscars to the People's Choice Awards cause Im quirky like dat.

First up -  Queen B. Wearing an Osman monochrome jumpsuit with Jimmy Choo platforms and a Swarovski clutch. That's all we need to know really cause its Queen B!

Adele. As much as I dislike her I must applaud her for breaking out of the comfort zone and wearing something other than a black dress. This dress is divine and I want to hear nothing more about it looking like its made from upholstery fabric. It's Valentino Couture and it's glorious.

Rihanna wearing custom designed Azzedine Alaia. She looks stunning.

Here we have Florence Welch in Givenchy Haute Couture. She looks a little alien-esque. But it's something she wears very easily. And the colour of the dress with her hair. Magnifique.

Katy Perry. Now I'm a fan. I'm also a fan of the colour mint. My wardrobe is a little too over minted if you ask me. But this shade is just wrong for her skin tone and I'm not a fan of big bulging boobs. They're distracting. Soz K Pez...

The perfect Karlie Kloss in a sky blue Michael Kors cut out dress. Yes her ribs are showing. She is a model. Lets move on...

Princess Solange. She is dreamy from head to toe and wears this colour fabulously. She's chosen an emerald Ralph and Russo Couture gown teamed with hot pink heels (no one could do it but her) and Lorraine Schwartz jewellery.

Taylor Swift wore a J. Mendel S/S 2013 white gown with silver detailing. I feel like every outfit Taylor wears to an event right now is judged as a slap in the face to Mr Styles. Precisely what she's going for. She later became the ringmaster of the stage in a performance of her single "We are never ever getting back together"

Thankyou JLO. You are an amusing individual. Here she clearly is still Jenny from the Block with her trademark topknot and flasjhing that thigh in a ridiculous manner. Go home.

Kelly Rowland here in Georges Chakra S/S 2013 gown with cut away detailing. And cut away dignity.

Carey Mulligan supporting husband Marcus Mumford wore head to toe Lanvin. I do love Carey.

Azzedine Alaia made another appearance on the red carpet, this time on the body of Alicia Keys. She looks HOT but very predictable from her.

Last but certainly not least, Justin Timberlake and Jay-Z perform suit and tie, Justin wearing Tom Ford of course.

Peace Out.
